Mould Remediation

Removing mould without fixing what's feeding it just buys time. Our remediation service treats both: the growth, and the moisture source behind it.

Thermal imaging inspection used to locate the moisture source behind mould growth

Treating mould properly means treating the cause

Mould remediation that stops at cleaning the visible growth tends to see that growth return within weeks, because the surface conditions that allowed it (usually condensation, sometimes a leak or penetrating damp) haven't changed. Our approach identifies the source first, then carries out safe removal and treatment of the existing mould.

Common signs to look out for

Recurring mould despite regular cleaning

Mould across multiple rooms or a large surface area

Mould combined with a musty smell or visible condensation

Mould in a rental property flagged by a tenant or agent

Mould discovered during a pre-purchase inspection

How We Help

Our mould remediation process

Every remediation job starts with establishing why that surface is damp enough for mould to establish itself.

  • Identifying the moisture source driving the mould growth
  • Safe treatment and removal of existing mould from affected surfaces
  • Addressing the underlying cause: ventilation, a leak, or a damp issue
  • Practical guidance to reduce the chance of recurrence

What our customers say

“Had mould appearing behind a wardrobe every winter. We'd tried sprays, special paint, dehumidifiers, everything. They explained the relationship between the cold external wall, airflow and humidity and gave us a proper plan rather than another mould treatment. Made complete sense.”

Rachel · Chapel Allerton, Leeds

“We're landlords and needed somebody to look at recurring mould after the usual cleaning and repainting hadn't solved anything. The explanation we got was refreshingly practical and gave us something concrete to work from. Would definitely use them on our other properties.”

Sophie · Oakwood, Leeds

Frequently asked questions

Is mould dangerous?
Mould exposure can be an irritant, and some people are more sensitive than others. If you have specific health concerns, we'd always suggest discussing them with a medical professional alongside having the mould addressed.
How quickly can mould be treated?
Straightforward cases can often be resolved in a single visit; where the underlying cause needs further work (a ventilation upgrade, for example), remediation and the fix happen as separate, coordinated stages.
