DAMPCORE is a damp and waterproofing specialist based in Leeds, working across Yorkshire. We exist to answer one question properly before anyone recommends what to do about it: what's actually causing this?
Why we work this way
Damp and timber problems are too often treated on assumption: a tide-mark gets called rising damp, a musty smell gets called mould, and a fix gets specified before the actual cause has been established. When that guess is wrong, the work doesn't solve the problem, and the cost of getting it wrong falls on the property owner. We built DAMPCORE around the opposite approach: survey first, explain clearly, and only then recommend what (if anything) needs doing.
