Our registered company name and number will be added here once confirmed.
What we collect
When you request a survey or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you give us: typically your name, telephone number, email address, property postcode, a description of the problem, and anything else you choose to tell us. We don't ask for more than we need to arrange and carry out a survey.
Why we use it
- To arrange, carry out and follow up a damp survey or other service you've requested (legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one).
- To respond to enquiries sent by phone, email or the website (legal basis: legitimate interest in running our business).
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Who we share it with
We may share your information with subcontractors or specialist partners directly involved in delivering your survey or remedial work, and with our own IT/software providers who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not currently run advertising trackers (Google Analytics/Tag Manager) on this site; if we add them in future, this policy will be updated first.
The specific processors we use (CRM, form handler, accountancy software) will be listed here once selected.
How long we keep it
Our data retention periods have not been confirmed yet and will be added here once they are.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us: what personal data we hold about you; to correct it if it's wrong; to delete it; to restrict or object to our use of it; and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, contact info@dampcore.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
